Celebrating 80 Years of Serving Our Community

This year marks a very special milestone for Perry Beeches Baptist Church as we celebrate 80 years of serving the communities of Perry Beeches and Great Barr. For eight decades, the church has been a place of worship, fellowship, and support for people of all ages, and we thank God for His faithfulness throughout the years.

What a wonderful way to begin this landmark year. Our very first service of 2026 was a truly joyful occasion as we celebrated the baptism and new membership of two women of faith. Tema and Michelle publicly declared their commitment to Christ through baptism, surrounded by family, friends, and their church family.

The church was filled to capacity as many gathered to witness this special moment. It was a deeply emotional and uplifting service, with a wonderful atmosphere of celebration, encouragement, and thanksgiving.

The service also included some powerful personal testimonies. In particular, Tema shared a moving testimony about her journey of faith, which touched many in attendance.

As part of her testimony, she made a special dedication to her late Auntie Wendy, a faithful member of Perry Beeches Baptist Church who sadly passed away a few years ago. It was a heartfelt moment that reminded everyone of the lasting impact of faith, family, and the church community.

Seeing new believers take this important step in their faith was a fantastic way to begin our 80th anniversary year, reminding us that God continues to work in the lives of people in our community. We look forward with excitement and gratitude as we continue celebrating this milestone year together.
